Estate Argyros was established in 1903 by Georgios Argyros, in a 5 acres vineyard located in Episkopi Gonia Thiras (Santorini). Georgios Argyros made his wines according to the traditional Santorinian way, in order to take advantage of the grapes produced by his own vineyard. The wines produced were sold mainly in the local market.
The company was founded in 1991, under the name SIGALAS WINERY Ltd. The winery was initially located in the traditional canava of the Sigalas family. In 1998, a new production, bottling and aging facility was constructed, located in a privately owned area.
The Santorini winery is located in Megalochori, a traditional village near Pyrgos.Experienced staff will guide you through the facility and show you how the wine is made here in Santorini.The wines which are produced here are the Santorini Boutari,Asirtiko ,Kallisti ,Seladia and the famous Vinsanto.
Gavalas winery, in Megalochori, Santorini, is a family tradition.
The family has been engaged in the vinification of the varieties grown in Santorini since the end of the 19th century. We hope that you will also become a devotee of the wines

Gaia’s winery on Santorini Island is open to visitors from April to October and is situated by the sea, on the eastern side of the island, near the airport and between Kamari and Monolithos.
